I've seen so many movies, read books, and seen pictures of Ireland. I also have a friend going to Ireland this summer. I'm a little jealous. But in a good way. ;)
Being a very outdoorsy kind of gal, any pictures I see, descriptions I read or hear make me think of what it must feel like to walk on the lush green grass, and cobblestone pavements. Travel around on a bike. Meet the people there. See all those interesting stores, and towns. Feel the cool winds on my face. See the ocean, and all the waters. Such beauty and wonder.
I've always wanted to be caught in a steady rain in Ireland. Smell the fresh air, wet grass, and the rain. It wouldn't be too hard. From what I've heard, it rains frequent-ish in Ireland. I love rain, if you haven't noticed. :)
In the midst of all the pictures I've seen, I came across one of a library in Dublin, Ireland. I have this thing for awesome libraries, and I think this one definitely qualifies. It looks glorious. <3
So pretty. Everything in Ireland looks to be that way. And is, from what I've read. I look forward to the day that I venture off to Ireland, and see these places and more in person. Do you have that one place you're dreaming to go?
Oh man. Yeah, Ireland is definitely on my list. All of the UK really. I'd LOVE to stay at our family castle (now a hotel) in England.
ReplyDeleteYou have a family castle that's now a hotel? Cool. :)
DeleteWow, just now saw this. Yep. :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walworth_Castle My great-grandmother's maiden name was Walworth.
DeleteOh, tell me about it. <3 I LOVE Ireland-- the country, the scenery, the music. So cool to know about your family history!
